Software update checks: When the Software checks for updates via Sparkle, your IP address and basic system information (macOS version, app version) may be transmitted to our update server.
Website analytics: Our website may use basic, privacy-respecting analytics (no cookies, no cross-site tracking).

1.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect telemetry, usage data, or crash reports from the Software.
We do not track your container activity, Docker commands, or file system contents.
We do not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
License verification is performed entirely offline on your device.

2. How We Use Your Information

To deliver and verify your license key.
To provide software updates.
To respond to support requests.
To process refunds or re-issue lost keys.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except:

Payment processor: Your payment information is handled entirely by our payment processor. We do not store credit card details.
Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or in response to valid legal process.

4. Data Storage and Security

License issuance records are stored securely and access-controlled. We retain only the minimum information needed for license management (email, key prefix, issuance date).

5. Data Retention

License records: Retained for the duration of your license (perpetual licenses are retained indefinitely for re-issuance support).
Support emails: Retained for up to 2 years after the last correspondence.
Website logs: Retained for up to 90 days.

Request correction of inaccurate data.
Request deletion of your data (subject to license management requirements).
